The Faculty and Student Scholarship section is provided as a service to the WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences community for sharing publications, presentations, and other highly transactional types of information.   • Julie Akers presented a PharmTalk at the 2024 APhA Annual Meeting titled “Overcoming Legislative Barriers that Limit Interprofessional Practice and Education” with co-presenter and alum Dr. Brandy Seignemartin. At the same conference, Julie also served as moderator for a 1-hour session titled “Communicating through Controlled Substance Concerns”.


  • Sue Marsh will serve as an editorial board member for American Journal of Physiology – Heart and Circulatory Physiology for a three-year term.
