The Sue Harriet Monroe Mullen Graduate Fellowship was established in 1998 to support cancer research at the college. Sue Mullen was a 1928 WSC graduate in home economics whose father, brother and husband were pharmacists. Cancer claimed the lives of many of her family members – grandfather, father, mother, daughter, and four brothers.
