The Don and Julia Lee Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 by Don to honor his wife Julia, who died in 1992. He was a Chinese emigrant who came to Pullman in 1928. After he and Julia were married, they owned Don’s Midway Grocery near campus, which was frequented by students.
