The Barbara Higgins Memorial Scholarship in International Health Sciences was created by Dr. Robert W. Higgins ’57 in memory of his late wife, Barbara, who passed away in 2002. She was a 1956 WSU graduate in home economics. After graduation, Dr. Higgins worked as a pharmacist for five years before he went on and got his medical degree from the University of Washington.
