New Dean Arrives Aug. 1

Dr. Gary Pollack, who is currently the Executive Associate Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, will become Dean of the WSU College of Pharmacy on Aug. 1, 2010.

Dr. Pollack has been at UNC since 1984. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and psychology from Knox College in Illinois, and a Ph.D. in pharmaceutics from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Pollack previously worked for many years with Dr. Bill Campbell, who has been serving this year as interim dean of the WSU College of Pharmacy.
