The Class of 1966 returns to WSU for ‘Golden Grads’ reunion

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington State University College of Pharmacy class of 1966 celebrated their 50-year class reunion on September 15.

The WSU Alumni Association hosts a 50 and 60 year class reunion for WSU graduates each year. During this event graduates get to reconnect with friends and visit the Pullman campus.

The 1966 pharmacy golden grads took a break from their regularly scheduled events in Pullman to visit the College of Pharmacy, now headquartered on the WSU Health Sciences campus in Spokane. Their visit included a tour of the Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences Building and lunch with Dean Gary Pollack.

The college relocated from Pullman to the WSU Health Sciences campus in Spokane in December 2013, but has been heavily involved in the Spokane health care community since the 1970s through our internships, experiential rotations, and pharmacy residency programs. There are approximately 550 student pharmacists and graduate students, and about 2,950 WSU pharmacy alumni.
