Judy Knuth, a clinical instructor in the Program in Nutrition in Exercise Physiology, and professor of pharmacotherapy John White were the joint winners of the 2010 WSU Spokane Student Choice Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Knuth was nominated for inspiring students by her own example of hard work and evidence-based research and practice. White’s nominator cited his gift for teaching, his ability to inspire and connect with students on an individual level, and his efforts to link the classroom to his research by inviting students to participate.
