Meadows honored for advancing science

Picture of Gary MeadowsPharmacy Professor Gary Meadows was one of five WSU faculty awarded the distinction of Fellow by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Each year the AAAS Council elects new Fellows whose “efforts on behalf of the advancement of science or its applications are scientifically or socially distinguished.”

Meadows was selected for his contributions in the field of nutrition and cancer metastasis, and immunotoxicology of alcohol. Only 120 Fellows have previously been elected in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Read more.
