Tom Stanley, a pharmacist at Safeway in Spokane since 1989, was selected by the College to receive its 2008 Roche Preceptor of the Year award. The award was presented at the senior brunch held prior to commencement on May 2. Stanley has been a preceptor for WSU fourth-year students for many years. The annual Preceptor of the Year award goes to a practitioner for their outstanding contributions to the educational development of future pharmacists by demonstrating high standards of professionalism, ethics and clinical practice.
