  • Aiden Nguyen (Clinical Resident, Paine Lab) was selected as one of six finalists in the poster competition (post-doc category) for his project, “Effects of Fatty Acids and Triglycerides on Cannabidiol-Mediated Inhibition of Cytochrome P450 Activity: Are Fatty Acids Protective?”, for the upcoming International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics meeting to be held in Chicago.
  • September 2025 – Taylor Bertsch presented a CE session on “Burnout and Feedback” for Virginia Mason – Harrison Medical Center in Silverdale, WA 
  • September 25, 2005 – Megan Undeberg presented Zoom-based Grand Rounds, “From Lizard Spit to Sea Sponges:  Harnessing the Natural World Around Us to Advance Patient Care.” To Reginal Providence Providers and Residents in Spokane, WA
  • September 15, 22, and 29, 2025  – Megan Undeberg provided three educational lectures, interactive activities, and Q&A sessions: “Pharmacists and Pharmacy Practice in the United States”, “Medication Reconciliation,” and “Rural Pharmacy in the United States,” for the Mukogawa U.S. extension campus program for pharmacy students from the Mukogawa Women’s University in Nishinomiya, Japan. 
  • October 7, 2025 – Joshua J. Neumiller presented “Update on incretin-based therapies: at the 40 Annual Alaska Native Diabetes Conference in Anchorage, AK.

Grants & Awards

  • Kimberly McKeirnan received $101,125 from Merck & Company for her project, “A qualitative evaluation of the role of the pharmacy technician in increasing immunization access and equity in the United States and Canada.”
