The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPPS) is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Mary Paine as the new Director of Industry Advancement. This pivotal role reflects the college’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and the pharmaceutical industry, fostering innovation, and creating transformative opportunities for students and faculty in drug development.
In her role as Director of Industry Advancement, Dr. Paine will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies, contract research organizations, and startups. She will support CPPS faculty in developing innovative research programs and assist in advancing research toward commercialization. Additionally, she will collaborate with industry leaders to create potential fellowships for students. Through these initiatives, she will play a key role in enhancing the college’s research enterprise and fostering impactful collaborations through our Industry Advisory Board.
