Every year, the WSU pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences alumni community make their annual pilgrimage from across the nation to the college. Their collective goal? To pay tribute to their own and raise funds for scholarships and academic programs for the next generation of student pharmacists and scientists at the Crimson Gala. It’s true. The college’s alumni are devoted to setting students up for success.
Proceeds from the Gala are put towards the advancement of future scientists and health care leaders in the form of scholarships and student programs. If you would like to contribute to the success of our students, please contact Kelly Sylvester, director of development and alumni relations, at kelly.sylvester@wsu.edu or call 509-368-6675.
Congratulations, to the awardees celebrated this year:
Alumni of the Year
The Outstanding Alum award was established by the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council in 1991. The award recognized alums for personal achievements and contributions to community, society at large or the health care profession.
This year, we expanded our recognition to include our alums in the PhD program, as well as Graduates of the Last Decade, otherwise known as GOLD, which celebrates a recent graduate from the last 10 years.
