Our PhD application process is through the WSU Graduate School. All application information and deadlines will be posted to their website.

Our priority deadline is December 5 and our final deadline is January 10.

Statement of purpose

In addition to your Graduate School application, the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPPS) requires a written statement of purpose:

This written statement should include your professional goals, an explanation of why you are interested in attending our program, and a description of your research experience, if any. Please include the names of our faculty members whose research interests you.

Application submissions

Most application materials can be uploaded via the online application process or emailed to the Graduate School at gradschool@wsu.edu. Applicants may upload or email copies of official transcripts (not web printouts) for the purpose of evaluation but upon admission will be required to have official transcripts sent by their previous institutions to:

Interview

Selected candidates will be asked to interview at the CPPS in Spokane, Washington. After the interview process, chosen candidates will be offered admissions into the program.
