Legislative Day

Dr. Julie Akers and student delegates along with the Washington State Pharmacy Association head to the state capitol for Legislative Day! Working with pharmacy delegates, they will advocate and make an impact on legislation related to the practice of pharmacy in Washington state. Legislative Day is when student pharmacists educate lawmakers about the issues that affect patients and the importance of the pharmacy profession in health care, and to help shape the future of pharmacy in Washington state.
