Career Seminar Series – Insight from the Costco Health Solutions chief executive

Chris Pierce, PharmD, is the chief executive for the Costco Health Solutions team including oversight of commercial self-insured PBM business, the Costco Member Prescription Program, and strategic business development. In addition, his responsibilities have included the business development of Costco’s Rx e-commerce facilities, central fill pharmacy depots, and the expansion of Costco’s pharmacy specialty services. Chris is a member of the National Business Group on Health and a national advisor to health care reform policy.

Chris joined Costco in 2005 and prior to coming to Costco Wholesale he worked at a leading internet pharmacy, Drugstore.com, and a Seattle Health System.

Chris Pierce holds a Bachelors and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University.
