Student Regalia

Traditional caps or tams and gowns are recommended at all WSU in-person ceremonies. You can order your regalia online via Herff Jones.

Deadlines

  • Receive $10 off your regalia and have the option for pickup on campus if you order before February 13, 2026 at 8:59 PM (PST).
  • Orders must be placed by March 27, 2026 at 8:59 PM (PST).

How to Rent Your Regalia

Regalia is specific to degree and university, please be sure to read the details specific to your degree type and order through the button below the descriptions to ensure you have correct regalia. Regalia for professional, master’s, and graduate students does not include the WSU Crimson Yoke.

If you would like to have your regalia shipped to campus to be picked up the week of commencement you must order by the February 13 early bird deadline. All other orders will be shipped directly to the address you provide.

Order Regalia

Doctor of Pharmacy

Regalia includes tam, hood with olive green velvet trim, and black robe with olive green velvet detailing.

Steps to Order Doctor of Pharmacy Regalia

  • Click Order Now under “Rental Cap & Gown”
  • Select College of Pharmacy and Pharm Sci from the drop down
  • Select Doctor of Pharmacy
  • Choose whether you want to ship your regalia home or pick up from the Spokane campus.
    College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (CPPS) graduates are able to pick up their regalia from the dean’s suite. Campus pickup is only available for orders placed prior to the February 13 early bird deadline.
  • Click Shop
  • For regalia you will need to go to the Cap & Gown tab

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Regalia includes tam, hood with royal blue velvet trim, and crimson robe with dark gray velvet detailing.

Steps to Order PhD Regalia

  • Click Order Now under “Rental Cap & Gown”
  • Select College of Pharmacy and Pharm Sci from the drop down
  • Select PhD, Masters, and Bachelors
  • Choose whether you want to ship your regalia home or pick up from campus.

Master’s Degree

Regalia includes cap, hood, and light gray robe.

Steps to Order Master’s Degree Regalia

  • Click Order Now under “Rental Cap & Gown”
  • Select College of Pharmacy and Pharm Sci from the drop down
  • Select PhD, Masters, and Bachelors
  • Choose whether you want to ship your regalia home or pick up from campus

  • Choose Master under “Degree Type”

Bachelor of Science

Regalia includes mortarboard, black robe, and crimson yoke.

Steps to Order Bachelor Degree Regalia

  • Click Order Now under “Rental Cap & Gown”
  • Select College of Pharmacy and Pharm Sci from the drop down
  • Select PhD, Masters, and Bachelors
  • Choose whether you want to ship your regalia home or pick up from campus.

Ordering Additional Non-Regalia Items

If you would like to order graduation packages, announcements, a diploma frame, or a class ring, you can also do so through the same website where you rent your regalia.

Shipping of Non-Regalia Items

  • If your regalia is being shipped to you: You will be asked to provide a shipping address at check-out, all items will be shipped to you at this address.
  • If your regalia is being picked up on campus and you order additional items: You will be asked to provide a shipping address at check-out, this should be your home address where you would like non-regalia items shipped. Your regalia will still be shipped to campus to be picked up in the dean’s suite. If you do not order any items aside from regalia you will not be asked for a shipping address at check-out.

Getting Your Regalia

You can have your regalia shipped to your home address or pick up on campus from the Office of Student Services in PBS 130 weekdays from April 27 through May 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

When your Regalia Arrives

  • Check your regalia as soon as you receive it to make sure everything is correct; please do not wait until the day of your ceremony. 
  • Ensure regalia is pressed and wrinkle free prior to the ceremony.
  • Be sure to keep the black straps that come with the regalia so it’s easier to return.

Cords

Rho Chi, campus, and some student organization cords will be distributed in the dean’s suite in PBS 130 weekdays from April 27 through May 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please contact your student organization if you have any questions about their cords.

Returning Your Regalia

Regalia must be shipped or returned to Sarah Kohler by Friday, May 15. If you do not return your regalia you will be charged for the full amount of the gown.

If your regalia was shipped to you

Please ship your rental regalia back to Herff Jones using the Fedex label provided with your rental. You can keep your cap or tam and tassel.

If you picked up your regalia on campus

Please return your regalia to Sarah Kohler in PBS 130K. You can keep your cap or tam and tassel.

Tips for Wearing Regalia

Undergraduate degrees wear tassels on the right, while all professional, master’s and doctorate degrees are worn on the left.
