From Idea to Impact: Creative Approaches to Innovation in Health Sciences
June 16 @ 11:30 am - 3:00 pm

Join us for an engaging discussion on research commercialization and innovation with the WSU Office of Research Innovation and Entrepreneurship. This interactive session will bring together faculty, researchers, and industry leaders to explore the pathway from scientific discovery to real-world impact.
The event begins with lunch and networking, followed by an introduction to the Office of Research’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship team presented by Technology Licensing Associate Karin Biggs. Faculty experts from the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and the College of Nursing will then share insights from their research and commercialization experiences, discuss opportunities and challenges in translational science, and answer questions.
Following the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in smaller one-on-one conversations with the Innovation & Entrepreneurship team and other collaborators to discuss individual projects, ideas, and potential commercialization pathways.
Whether you are actively pursuing translational research or simply interested in learning more about bringing innovation to market, this session offers a valuable opportunity to connect, ask questions, and explore future possibilities.
