DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences White Coat Ceremony is our longstanding tradition where students receive their white lab coats to signify entry of the student to the professional ranks. \nWe are excited to be back to celebrate in person with a combined Class of 2024/25 White Coat Ceremony. \nThursday\, August 19\, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.\nThe Seasons Performance Hall\n101 N. Naches Ave\, Yakima\, 98901 \nFamily and friends are welcome! This ceremony is open seating and guests do not need a ticket to attend. They can also tune in live via YouTube. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of illness\, please stay home. \nAll white coats are provided to students courtesy of Walgreens. \nMasking Guidelines\nThis event will adhere to safety and masking guidelines as outlined by the State of Washington and the CDC. Individuals who are fully vaccinated (received all doses of the vaccine and completed their final dose two or more weeks prior to August 19) are not required to wear a mask. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask for the duration of the event. \nEven if you are fully vaccinated\, we welcome and encourage you to wear a mask to ensure your health and the health of all event attendees. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of illness\, please stay home. \nWe will continue to monitor for any changes to guidelines issued by the University\, local health district and/or state in the weeks ahead. If heightened health and safety precautions are recommended\, we will communicate with all attendees about any changes to masking or other guidelines for the event.
