To all 2020 WSU Health Sciences Spokane Graduates in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

Good afternoon,

As you are all aware, our commencement/graduation celebrations and ceremonies are different this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The college and university want to make this time as special as we can for you.  You are all deserving of being celebrated for your hard work and determination. We are so proud of you!

We want to make sure you are aware of how you can be a part of the upcoming graduation celebrations. Please read the details below and make sure you provide your information accordingly.

Washington State University Virtual Commencement Celebration – All Campuses
This historic online system-wide event is meant to unite all campuses into one memorable commencement celebration to be held at 10amSaturday, May 9, 2020.

This will be a livestream presentation broadcast on YouTube and it will be recorded for future viewing and accessed on Experience WSU as well as the Commencement site.  There will be a mix of live video and recorded video, and interactive involvement which will include some Spokane student leadership and faculty. Anyone can watch this virtual celebration.  If you are a current 2020 graduate, you can click on this link to register. WSU All Campus Virtual Commencement Celebration:  By clicking on this link and registering, you are ensuring that your name and degree will be shared in a scrolling list of names at the end of the virtual celebration.  This submittal must be made by April 11, 2020.  Please note – – You are not required to submit your name or register for this virtual celebration.  If you do not register, you can still watch the online celebration like everyone else.  The link for this celebration will be sent to all graduates prior to May 9.

WSU Spokane Campus Celebration
The Spokane campus wants to formally recognize its students after the virtual celebration from WSU Pullman, on Saturday, May 9.  We are currently working on a specialized WSU Spokane commencement celebration video presentation in which each graduate from the colleges (Nursing, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine) will be recognized individually with your name, photo/video, degree and special graduation  message.  This virtual piece will also include special messages from your Dean and Chancellor.  In order to complete this, we will need you to submit information about yourself.  Please look for an email from around April 17.  This email from will take you through the process of uploading a photo/video, and graduate quote/message.  Once this presentation is complete you will be able to share it with family and friends on May 9.  You will also be able to access a special web page in which this link will be located, along with individual graduate slides by name and by college units.  You must submit information to to be included in the WSU Spokane 2020 Virtual Celebration video.  We hope you all will participate and submit information for this commemorative idea.  This WSU Spokane celebration link will also be sent to all graduates prior to May 9, so that you can view with your families and friends.

Graduation In A Box!
All Spokane campus graduates will receive a “Graduation in a Box.”  This box will include celebratory items as well as a cap and tassel, honor cords, and a  Commencement 2020 program with all graduates names and degrees.  All boxes will be mailed to graduates using the last mailing address your college/department has on file. To ensure that this box is delivered to your current place of residence, please update your address in myWSU by Wednesday, April 15.

In Person Commencement- Spokane
At this time, WSU Spokane is planning on doing an in-person commencement ceremony.  Possible dates are still being reviewed.  Please check the WSU Spokane Commencement website for more information on these details.

Please note – – All Spokane graduates are welcome to attend WSU Pullmans proposed August 2020 Commencement Ceremony.
