Steve was a respected colleague who touched the lives of many of our students and positively influenced the careers of many pharmacists.
Steve was special to us. He graduated from our program with a BPharm in 1995 and a PharmD in 1996 and then completed a fellowship in geriatric pharmacy with the WSU College of Pharmacy for a year before joining our faculty. In 2000, he became one of only 10 Certified Geriatric Pharmacists in the state of Washington. He was definitely a leader in this field, and he had great passion for seniors.
Steve will be missed by many including his friends, colleagues, classmates, patients, and especially his loved ones, including his daughters Courtney and McKenzie Setter.
The College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences extends sincere condolences to all who knew him both personally and professionally.
