Spokane White Coat Ceremony

The Washington State University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences White Coat Ceremony is our longstanding tradition where students receive their white lab coats to signify entry of the student into the professional ranks.

We are excited to be back to celebrate in person with a combined Class of 2024/25 White Coat Ceremony.

Family and friends are welcome! This ceremony is open seating and guests do not need a ticket to attend. They can also tune in live via YouTube. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, please stay home.

All white coats are provided to students courtesy of Walgreens.

Masking Guidelines

Out of an abundance of caution due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the region, the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox is requiring that all attendees of the White Coat Ceremony wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Please be prepared to don your own mask upon entering the building and to wear it for the duration of the event. A limited number of masks will be available at the entrance. If you are sick or experiencing symptoms of illness, please stay home.

While there are no current requirements for social distancing, the Fox will make both the lower and balcony levels of the theater available so attendees may spread out if desired.

We will continue to monitor for any changes to guidelines issued by the Fox, the University, the local health district and/or the state. If additional health and safety precautions are recommended, we will follow up with more information about the guidelines and their impact to the event.
