Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy, Creighton University School of Pharmacy
About Me
I grew up in Mukilteo, Washington and received my bachelor’s degree in Biology at Seattle University before moving to Omaha, Nebraska to attend Creighton University for my pharmacy education. I am currently the Drug Information and Academic Resident at the WSU College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. I have been pursuing pharmacy since my sophomore year of high school. During undergraduate education, I conducted research in pre-clinical drug development and then I did organic synthesis and pharmacokinetic research throughout pharmacy school. Through these experiences, I found I enjoyed being at the forefront of newly approved medications and disseminating drug information that improves patient care.
In my spare time I like to…
I spend my free time reading, playing or watching sports, hiking, watching TV, and spoiling my cat.
Why WSU?
When searching for a residency program, I was drawn to WSU because of their affiliations and opportunities for me to broaden my experience in both drug information and teaching. It was an added bonus that I got to move back to the Pacific Northwest from the Midwest.
