About Me

I’ve lived in Spokane 58.5 years and love it here. I was a stay-at-home mom and vice president of a successful plumbing business when I heard about a part time position in the facilities department here at WSU in 2001 and was offered the job. There were only three buildings at that time and it has been exciting to see the campus grow. After 17 years in facilities, it came time for a change and when I saw an opening in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, I thought about the people I knew that worked there and that I would enjoy working with them and directly with students. I have not been disappointed. The faculty and staff are wonderful to work with and as I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with the students, I believe they are exceptional. I am honored to work for the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and be a part of their dedication to caring for and educating future Doctors of Pharmacy.

In my spare time I like to…

I enjoy spending time with my family and grandchildren – playing board and card games as well as enjoying the outdoors.

Why WSU?

Generations of my husband’s family and friends have attended WSU and seeing their love of the school and watching WSU football games made me feel good about being a part of WSU.

My Favorite Quote

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourself, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-NIV
