About Me

After living in several different towns in several different states, I decided Spokane felt more like home and decided to stay here. I love the Pacific Northwest! I came to work at the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences while looking for a well-established organization in which to plant roots and grow.

In my spare time I like to…

I am a horse enthusiast. Having had horses since I was 7 years old, it has become of part of who I am—I guess you could say it’s in my blood! I have done everything from western riding, barrel racing, driving, jumping, trail riding and dressage. I worked as a groom for a racehorse trainer in southwest Washington state and a dressage barn in Wilsonville, Oregon. While I lived in Arizona, I volunteered at a racehorse rescue. Currently I don’t have a horse of my own, although I have a great mare for riding and taking lessons.

Why WSU?

Even though I didn’t attend WSU – everyone I know that did, is a devout fan! They are loyal Cougs through and through. I figured they must be doing something right!

My Favorite Quote

“For me, minimalism has never been about deprivation. Rather, minimalism is about getting rid of life’s excess in favor of the essential.” – Joshua Fields Millburn, A Day in the Life of a Minimalist.
