SUMMARY:Career Seminar Series: Epidemiology of Poisoning and Treatment
DESCRIPTION:James Leonard will be sharing his expertise as a pharmacist and clinical toxicologist. He graduated from the college in 2016 before pursuing a PGY1 pharmacy residency at Providence St. Peter’s Health in Olympia\, Washington\, followed by a two-year clinical toxicology fellowship at the Maryland Poison Center. After completing the fellowship\, he stayed with the Maryland Poison Center in various leadership roles including time as a clinical toxicologist\, assistant director\, then the director of clinical services and associate professor at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Pharmacy. He recently moved back to Washington to join the Washington Poison Center as the Managing Director.
