SUMMARY:Smoking Cessation Training Workshop for Health Care Providers
DESCRIPTION:The smoking cessation training workshop at the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences aims to provide health care providers and researchers with skills to help patients who use tobacco quit at every encounter and in any setting. The workshop provides practical training\, where participants are given the opportunity to practice their counseling skills using the 5As model (Ask\, Advise\, Assess\, Assist\, and Arrange). \n  \nRegistration is free and will remain open until 50 slots are filled.
