WSU College of Pharmacy is seeking a full-time, annual, non-tenure track, 12 month appointment Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor position. This position is based in Yakima, Washington at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital. The position will involve developing and implementing a clinical rotation site for supervision of pharmacy students. Responsibilities will also include participation in team-taught practice-related courses.

Appointment is a one-year renewable appointment beginning March 1, 2018 or as soon as possible. Individuals with a strong commitment to an academic career and an interest in teaching innovative practice models are encouraged to apply. The faculty candidate is expected to develop an active practice and contribute scholarly works in their area of clinical expertise.

Postdoctoral Research Associate - Cheng Lab

A Postdoctoral Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Zhaokang Cheng at Washington State University Spokane. The major focus of our research program is on novel mechanisms of cell death (apoptosis, necrosis, and autophagy-associated cell death) in heart diseases such as myocardial infarction and anthracycline cardiomyopathy. The successful candidate will work closely with the principal investigator, as well as other fellows and students in a highly collaborative environment. Job duties include designing and carrying out experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, writing manuscripts for publication, and training graduate and undergraduate students.
