Quock, Reynolds are Teachers of the Year for 2007-08

Raymond M. Quock and Jonathan Reynolds were selected by Pharm.D. students as Teachers of the Year for 2007-08.

Quock joined the College in January 1999 and is chair of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. He has a Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of Washington.

Quock lectures in neuropharmacology, psychopharmacology and drug abuse to second-year Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) students. He also is the supervising instructor for the graduate-level therapeutics course. In recognition of his outstanding teaching skills, Quock was named to the WSU President’s Teaching Academy in 2004.

Reynolds just finished his fourth year of teaching. He is a WSU alum who received his Pharm.D. in 1998. He joined the Department of Pharmacotherapy in September 2004 and teaches first and second year students. This is the second time he has received the teacher of the year award.
